Monastery of Saint Naum, Ohrid
We arrived at the Monastery of Saint Naum, the final stop on our boat tour of Lake Ohrid.

This was the view that greeted us when we disembarked at the monastery. This area is surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful parks, and there are restaurants here. In addition, a river flows through these restaurants; they are surrounded by the river.

We came to Ostrovo Restaurant on the recommendation of the captain of the boat that brought us here. Since I was pretty hungry, I was more interested in eating as soon as possible than in sightseeing.

The boat captain had said we’d be stopping here for two hours. My friend and I were enjoying our meal—after the excitement of picking out a nice table and had gotten lost in a long conversation when we suddenly realized we had less than 20 minutes left.

Another thing that caught my attention is that there are some really beautiful flowers here and in the area.

While we were eating at the restaurant, there were musicians playing live local music. It was a pleasure to dine in that atmosphere and at such a lovely restaurant.
After spending time at the nearby park, the seaside, and the restaurant, unfortunately we didn’t have much time left to tour the monastery.
