A walk through the streets of Ohrid, North Macedonia
There’s a folk festival in Ohrid. People are wearing traditional costumes and performing traditional dances.

After getting off at the Ohrid bus station, I took a taxi and went to the city center, which is about 2.5 km away, along the waterfront.

As I walked from the street along the waterfront toward the city center, I came across a mosque like this.

After walking a little further past 20th Street, I came to a square. I think the square was under construction.

The sight of people strolling through the beautiful streets of Ohrid is truly delightful.

While walking through the streets of Ohrid and heading down toward the shore, I saw a guy who worked there and asked if I could take his picture. Thankfully, he didn’t say no, so I took his picture, and I think it turned out great.

I see the Macedonian flag fluttering among the fragrant pink roses.

I came across a sign showing places to visit in Ohrid.

There was also a marathon event in Ohrid. Some people I met at the place where I was staying ran in that marathon.

I’m not very familiar with sports activities in that region. The name of this event is the Ohrid Ultra-Trail.
