More Than Just a Cola: Discovering Cockta
During my travels in Macedonia, I kept coming across a drink called Cockta in the markets. At first glance it looks like a usual cola, but the taste is quite different. This drink has a mild herbal and fruity character, with a hint that reminds me of rosehip. Originally created in the former Yugoslavia, Cockta remains a popular local soft drink across the region, including North Macedonia.
If you’re looking for something a little different from the usual cola brands, it’s definitely worth trying.
I enjoyed drinking it a few times. I never even considered drinking a cola made entirely of artificial sweeteners.
